What is a Go No Go Gauge 

 

A Go-No-Go Gauge is a manual mechanical measuring tool. The gauge consists of two ends: the "Go" end and the "No Go" end. If a part fits into the "Go" end but doesn't fit into the "No Go" end, it is considered acceptable. It is used in production lines to guarantee the machining has taken place and has been performed correctly. It is commonly used to check thread depth and internal/external diameters. Gauges are differ based on the type of surface check being performed. DIC Provides gauges to rate the component as either acceptable within or outside of tolerance.
